System Maintenance Alerts & Issues

At Northwest Bank, we continually seek ways to improve your experience with our online systems. We perform routine maintenance on our systems to facilitate necessary changes or to release new features. During these maintenance periods, access our online systems may be unavailable.

The list below is a summary of scheduled maintenance or known issues we are working quickly to resolve. We appreciate your patience while we make these improvements.









Beginning at 6 p.m. Pacific on Friday, April 19, until approximately midnight, Commercial Online and Mobile Banking will be unavailable. Users that attempt to log in will receive a notice stating the Commercial Center is unavailable. Users may experience intermittent periods of unavailability throughout the weekend while testing is being completed.

You do not need to take any action related to this upgrade. You are able to login with the same user ID and password. You will not see any significant difference in the look and feel of the online banking systems.

However, if you now experience any difficulty in accessing or utilizing the system, please contact your local Northwest Bank branch.

Users that attempt to log in will receive a notice stating the Commercial Center is unavailable. Users may experience intermittent periods of unavailability throughout the weekend while testing is being completed.

Merchant Remote Deposit Capture is being deployed into the Commercial Online Banking environment. This added feature will allow admins of a company to perform various functions without contacting Northwest Bank. Functions include enabling users to process a deposit through remote deposit capture, change a user limit based on the company’s internal controls, add authorized accounts, and enable a new account to a user.
Our Commercial Online Banking mobile application and token mobile application released version 22.1 to Apple and Google app stores. The update addresses security issues identified by FiServ and uses the latest tools from Apple and Google. There were no service interruption with this upgrade.
Scheduled maintenance will occur beginning Saturday, March 26, at approximately 10 p.m. PDT / 11 p.m. MDT and ending Sunday, March 27, at approximately 9 a.m. PDT / 10 a.m. MDT. User who have access to the Wire Transfer function in Commercial Online Banking will not be able to submit a new wire transfer request or inquire on transacted wire transfers during this time frame.
An update to Secure Browser (version 21.1.41.0) for Commercial Online Banking.

Secure Browser is a fraud prevention solution, offering secure site access with consistent user and device authentication. Secure Browser is not susceptible to malware attacks, it prevents misdirection of users to false sites, and it reduces risks by avoiding sites with malware. Secure Browser eliminates hard tokens or 3rd party security products.

Users are encouraged to update their Secure Browser to the latest version. The link to download Secure Browser is near the bottom of the Commercial Online Banking login page.

Bill Pay is now an available option for Commercial Online Banking users who also use Bill Pay via a desktop web browser.

Users will automatically see this option the next time they log in to our mobile application.

Note: Only existing payees will appear in the mobile app. New payees must first be created through the desktop application before being available in the mobile app.
