Northwest Bank, announced today that Guy Kim has joined the bank as president of the Idaho Division. As market president, Mr. Kim will strategically guide business development, provide leadership for banking professionals across the state, and provide oversight for the day-to-day operations of the market, including engaging with clients, community leaders, and regulators.
Mr. Kim brings more than two decades of experience in commercial banking to his new role. Prior to joining Northwest Bank, Mr. Kim was executive director within the commercial and specialized industries group at JPMorgan Chase. Earlier is his career, Mr. Kim spent more than a decade with Wells Fargo, advancing through increasingly senior commercial banking leadership roles and leading business banking teams across the Pacific Northwest.

Mr. Kim earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Boise State University and an MBA from Chapman University. He is also a certified treasury professional. Mr. Kim is a member of the board of trustees for Riverstone International School, a private school in Boise offering primary through secondary education. He additionally serves as board treasurer.
