Tips on Creating a Bill Payment Template for Small Businesses and Personal Accounts
- Log in to Small Business or Personal on-line banking.
- Click on desired account number
- Place mouse on Bill Payment, do not click
- Drop cursor down below Bill Payment and click on New Scheduled Payment
- If you are adding a non-automated payee, complete the template putting in a fictional
payment date and amount, but make sure that you click on On Demand for frequency of payments
and the fictional date so that your template payment will not actually be sent!
- If you are adding an automated payment (regular monthly date and amount), input the next
due date and the regular payment amount, and click on the desired schedule from the drop down box.
- You may add another new payee by clicking the New Bill Payment box at the bottom
of the screen.
- When you are ready to send the payments, go back to Bill Payment and without clicking,
slide your mouse down and click on Payment List.
- Click the box to the left of each bill to be paid manually (not a monthly automated
payment), moving to the right to add date and amount.
- When all of the payments, payment dates, and payment amounts have been selected, click on
Next at the bottom of the page.
- After reviewing list to be paid, click on Submit and print the confirmation page that is
now on the screen.
