Northwest Bank Announces Karen Lantz Fornshell as President & CEO

Lori Flexer LAKE OSWEGO, OR, April 24, 2008 - Northwest Bank announced today the appointment of Karen Lantz Fornshell as President and Chief Executive Officer. Karen will join the Bank April 29, at which time she will also become a member of the Board of Directors. William Krauthoefer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated, “We are very pleased to have Karen join the Northwest Bank team and look forward to her leadership in taking the Bank to the next level. Karen’s previous experience in senior leadership roles in both community and regional banks will benefit us greatly.”

Karen's banking experience includes serving in a variety of leadership positions primarily in Regional Banking, including working with a team to build a bank from start-up to maturity, and most recently for a large Regional Bank serving as Manager of the Professional Banking business line for the Northwest. This experience provides Karen a unique perspective in banking, enabling her to successfully serve clients at various levels of their life and business cycles. Karen is a graduate of the University of Portland, serves as Immediate Past-Chair of Metropolitan Family Service, Board Member for Loaves & Fishes, is a member of the Arlington Club and serves on the Legacy Hospital Board of Trustees.
